See how close you are to the limit, before you cross it.
Propfolio is a trading journal for prop firm accounts. It tracks drawdown, daily loss and payouts across every challenge and funded account, and keeps you honest about your own plan.
Free while in beta. Sign in with email or Google.
What it tracks
Everything a prop firm account asks of you, in one dashboard.
- Limits that match your firm
- Set max drawdown (trailing end-of-day or static, with lock), daily loss limit and consistency rule per account. The meters warn you at 80% of a limit and tell you to stop at 100%.
- Challenge and funded, kept apart
- Pass rate, cost per passed challenge and average days to pass. For funded accounts: payouts, your buffer, and what you can withdraw right now.
- A plan you can check yourself against
- Tick your own daily rules and mark each day as followed or deviated. See how your results differ. Streaks and badges reward process, never profit.
- A daily cap and a daily stop
- Turn risk per trade into a profit cap and a loss stop, with contract counts for MNQ and NQ and the lock amounts to set in Tradovate.
- A simulation of your plan
- Enter your win rate and reward to risk to see your odds of passing, or of reaching a first payout. It is a model built on your inputs, not a prediction.
- Your data stays portable
- Import trades from a CSV, export everything as a file, and delete your account whenever you want.
How it works
Add an account
Enter your firm's limits once: drawdown, daily loss, target and profit split.
Log your days
Type the day's P&L or import a CSV from your platform, then tick the rules you followed.
Read the dashboard
Check your limits, the calendar and your statistics for challenge and funded accounts.
What Propfolio does not do
A journal should be boring about the things that matter.
- It does not trade for you and does not connect to your broker. You log days by hand or import a file.
- It never asks for API keys or broker passwords. Please do not type them into your notes either.
- It is not investment advice, and it is not affiliated with any prop firm. Figures and simulations are calculations from your own inputs.
- Your journal belongs to you. Export it, or delete your account and everything in it.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes, while Propfolio is in beta. If that changes you will hear about it well in advance, and you can always export your data first.
Which prop firms does it work with?
Any of them. You enter the limits of each account yourself, so rules from different firms can sit side by side.
Does it connect to my broker?
No. Log days by hand, or import a CSV that has a close time and a P&L column.
Who can see my journal?
Only you. It is saved to your account behind a login, and the database rules only allow you to read your own data.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your browser and adapts to small screens.
